Anton Gabszewicz has been an international specialist in European Ceramics for over 40 years. He began dealing in English Porcelain after leaving school and joined Christie's London in 1975. There he catalogued British Ceramics' sales and prepared valuations of both European and Oriental ceramics. He became a Director of the company in 1989 and subsequently head of the European Ceramics department.
Since leaving Christie's in 1993 he has been an independent consultant to collectors and museums worldwide.
